Cadre values fair trade and sustainable materials. We believe every person involved from the beginning to end processes of bringing a product to life must be given safe working conditions and paid a living wage. All our brands ensure fair labor practices. We believe sustainable materials should remove waste from our planet or prevent the addition of new waste to our planet. All our brands use either recycled/upcycled materials or biodegradable materials, with a focus on reducing waste (through small batch production and made to order), ethical production, and giving back to the community. Through the onboarding process with Cadre, brands go through an assessment phase where detailed information is shared and vetted. This includes what materials are used to create the products, certifications on sustainable materials, transparency into production processes, proof of living wages, and specific brand actions to reduce waste. Additionally, Cadre has partnered with Hey Social Good. This means our brands may participate in receiving a Hey Social Good verification. Hey Social Good reviews all available documentation, certification, and evidence of the social good practices submitted and declared by the brand to double check that all brand practice claims and certifications are in good standing.
Cadre supports domestic and international sustainable brands. Because Cadre is a marketplace, all products ordered come directly from the brand which means if your order from one of our international-based brands, the order will be shipped from overseas.
Estimated delivery dates are based on a few factors: Where the brand is based and whether the product is made to order or pre-order. We are working hard with our partners to provide you with timely deliveries; however, please be aware that due to external factors related to supply chain limitations or COVID-related logistics, there may potentially be some delay.
For international brands the average delivery is within 5 – 7 business days. If a product is made-to-order, delivery could take on average 6 weeks depending on the brand’s quoted timeframe. If a product is on pre-order, this allows you early access to products from a new collection and the item will be available to ship once the new season launches. Cadre works closely with our brands to restock best-selling items in our limited collections; however, this is not a guarantee and is up to the discretion of the brand. As many of our brands look to reduce waste, some of the items are produced in small batches and may only be available in limited quantities for the season.
MADE TO ORDER/PRE-ORDER
Once a made-to-order product is placed, the brand will get to work on creating this product just for you. It’s not only a sustainable process to reduce waste and excess inventory but it is gives you, the customer, access to own an exclusive and limited item. On average, the lead time for made-to-order products can take up 6 weeks. All estimated delivery dates are included on the product page for the respective item.
A pre-order product gives you exclusive early access to items from the next season’s collection. These products have not yet been produced and, therefore, have a longer lead time. Cadre is proud to support brands looking to reduce overproduction and excess waste by mindfully producing based on consumer demand. Pre-order items may take 6+ weeks to arrive and is dependant on the respective brand’s new collection launch. All estimated delivery dates will be explicitly defined on the product page.
Cadre accepts Visa, American Express, Mastercard, and Apple Pay.
Because Cadre also supports international-based sustainable brands, certain taxes, duties, and VAT may be applied to the final cost of your purchase. All applicable taxes will be automatically calculated and shown to you at check out.
SHIPPING & RETURNS
Once your order is placed, we will have it dispatched within 2 business days. Delivery takes 2 to 7 business days depending on where the product is coming from: domestically or internationally. If an order contains items from multiple brands, you will receive multiple packages. Because of the nature of Cadre’s marketplace model and many brand’s small batch production, exchanges are unfortunately not offered. To process a return, please email Cadre’s customer support at firstname.lastname@example.org. A shipping label will be shared via email to send the item(s) back to the brand. We ask you not to contact the brand directly as Cadre manages all returns.
Cadre accepts returns within 30 days of delivery date. All returned items must be unworn, undamaged, and unused with tags attached with original packaging. You can find more information about returns on our Returns Policy page.
